Dawnguard is the first DLC for Skyrim, released 2012. Always use in conjunction with the [the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim] tag.
In the game, players are given the choice of fighting for or against the Vampires, the rival Vampire hunters being known as the Dawnguard.
The game includes new locations, items, skills and perks over the base game.
