Technical writer turned software engineer, I started programming a couple of decades ago with classic ASP, JavaScript, and SQL Server, delving a little into a little C# and .Net before being tasked to help maintain a Progress OpenEdge system. I've done both front-end and back-end work and I'm not sure which I prefer, so I guess I'm solidly in the "full-stack" camp. Eventually, I'd love to develop for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS, if not professionally, then for fun.
Outside of work I've been an amateur photographer for about 40 years. In addition to taking thousands of selfies, I enjoy dabbling in landscape, astro-, and macrophotography.
