Can a non-US citizen living in the US on an E2 visa travel to Cuba?

I'm a European citizen living in the US under a work visa (E2). Would traveling to Cuba from the US as a tourist jeopardize my re-entry to the US? Is it legal for me? Not sure i`m affected by Trumps new regulations. Thanks
