Questions tagged [desktop-computer]

Traditional computers as compared to laptops and netbooks.

Desktop computers tend to come in three main parts: the case that contains the actual computer (motherboard, disk drives and power supply), the screen, and the keyboard and mouse.

Not usually portable, the computer will sit on or under the desk with the keyboard and monitor on top.

Desktop computers are usually more powerful than a similarly priced laptop.
