I am on the development team for the NASA General Mission Analysis Tool (GMAT) and the NASA Copernicus trajectory design and optimization system. I created the OpenFrames 3D interactive visualization API, which provides visualizations for GMAT and Copernicus (as well as other NASA and DOD aerospace tools).
