I'd like to be an astronaut and I am willing to work for it, but I will never get to be one. Here's why: 1.I'm Irish. When is the last time you heard of an Irish astronaut? (correct answer is never) 2.I will not be able to pilot advanced aircraft. (Fighter jets, gunships etc.) I'll tell you why next.. 3. I'm two metres tall! I know right? How awful, poor me... I can get into any movie I like without being asked for identification, but I'm too tall for any conventional fighter aircraft or spacecraft in use today. Great work humanity! You can put a man on the moon but you can't stretch a soyuz capsule an extra ten centimetres.
