Pentax is a Japanese camera maker, founded in 1919. Since 2011, it is a subsidiary of Ricoh Company, Ltd., another Japanese camera maker. The company makes point & shoot digital cameras, APS-C dSLRs, and a medium format digital SLR, (the 645D). They also have a compact interchangeable lens system camera, the Pentax Q.

Shooting in RAW Format
