A 2005 British-American superhero film based on DC Comics character Batman, co-written/directed by Christopher Nolan.

Batman Begins is Christopher Nolan's reboot of the Batman franchise with Christian Bale starring as a young Bruce Wayne, learning the skills he needs and building up his persona of Batman while facing off against Psychologist Johnathan Crane (Scarecrow) and the mysterious Ra's Al Ghul.

This is the first in Nolan's Batman Trilogy and is the origin story of Nolan's version of Batman.
