I am currently a student working on my computer science degree. I have been working with living history groups for the last three years, focusing on chain maille and armor history. I am a member of the Black Oake Maille Guild, a living history group in the Kansas City area. We have a booth at the Kansas City Renaissance festival were we teach people about the process and use of maille throughout history and into the modern era.
I have been an amateur armorer for 15 years and have done extensive research into the production and use of armor throughout recorded history.
