I’m R. Govindaraj is presently working as Sr. Project Surveyor, ULCCS Ltd, Vadakara, Kerala. I’m a specialist in Geospatial technology with industrial and teaching experiences over 15 years in geospatial application fields. I’m awarded M. Phil. in Micro Level Planning from Gandhigram Rural Institute (GRI), Dindigul in 2005; M.Sc., in Applied Geography from Government Arts College, Kumbakonam in 2004. I’m a certified Master trainer of the Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI). I served as a professional expert in UL Technology Solutions (Private) Ltd since 2010. I served as teaching faculty in various universities in Tamil Nadu. I have been involved in various projects and development work in the geospatial fields like Urban Planning, Utility Management, Municipal GIS, Disaster Management, etc. I have professional skills in GIS and remote sensing software like Map info, ERDAS, ArcGIS, etc. I have presented research papers with innovative techniques and ideas at national and international seminars and conferences in various Indian universities and institutions.
