I am a 24 year old geographer, working as a PhD-student at the Biology department at the University of Antwerp. By means of hydrodynamic modelling and remote sensing, I couple the deforestation of Mangroves to the lost flood buffer capacity of tropical deltas. Therefore, I spent most of my days either in the Google Earth Engine or by writing Python programs (along with teaching GIS to Biology students)!
