The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the first Legend of Zelda game to be released on the Nintendo 64 and introduced many important controlling techniques, the most notable being the game's "z-targeting" system and context-sensitive control.

The Legenda of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is an action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development and published by Nintendo. It was first released in Japan on November 21, 1998. The game is the fifth installment in the Legend of Zelda Series and the first 3D Zelda game.

The player assumes the role of Link through the third person perspective. In the beginning of the game, Link is a young boy. Eventually, he obtains the Master Sword in the Temple of Time. When he grabs the sword, he is encapsulated in time for seven years until he has matured enough to wield the sword. He can then replace the sword back in the Temple of Time to go back to when he was a young boy. As he progresses through the story, he obtains an ocarina, and can learn songs to play that can help him along in his journey.
