The Xbox Series X/S, are consoles that are in the fourth generation of Xboxes. Use this tag for questions pertaining to the system themselves rather than just any game that runs on it (unless of course the console is relevant). The consoles are in the ninth generation of gaming consoles (as is the PlayStation 5).

The Xbox Series X/S is owned and still updated by Xbox which is owned by Microsoft. It was first launched on November 10, 2020.

While the two consoles can play the same titles, the Series X has more powerful hardware compared to the Series S, boasting a more powerful GPU, faster CPU, higher RAM capacity, and more built in storage. The Series S is a digital only console, meaning it does not support physical disc media to play games.
