The third series of Pokemon games for the 3DS and the first Pokémon versions of the seventh generation.

Pokemon S/M takes place in the Alola region of the franchise's fictional universe. This region is based on the real-world islands of Hawaii. The games introduce the new 'Z-move' mechanic as well as many new Pokemon.

The player chooses either a Rowlett, Litten, or Poppolio as their starter Pokémon.

Why does my Pokemon have a star appear every time I use it?
