Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen versions are GBA Generation III games set in the Kanto region, and are remakes of Pokémon Red and Blue.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are main-line Pokémon games released for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, as paired Generation III remakes of the Generation I games Pokémon Red and Blue.

Similar to Pokémon Red and Blue, FireRed and LeafGreen take place in the Kanto region of the franchise's fictional universe. The player chooses either a Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle as their starter Pokémon from Professor Oak.
