Minecraft Education (formerly Minecraft: Education Edition) is a special version of Minecraft designed for the use in classrooms and is only licensed to teachers and schools. It is based on the Bedrock Edition of the game, with additional features that make it more appropriate for a classroom environment.

It includes special features like the ability to create NPCs to guide the player on the world and blocks to limit where the players can go and what they can do.
