A 2012 sci-fi role-playing third-person shooter by BioWare, and the third installment of Mass Effect series. Commander Shepard's ongoing battle against the Reapers comes to a conclusion in this final chapter of the N7/Spectre operative story.

Mass Effect 3 is the concluding game in BioWare's Mass Effect series. There are many improvements over the previous iteration of the game, Mass Effect 2, including enhanced artificial intelligence and a four-player multiplayer co-op mode. It continues where the Arrival pack for Mass Effect 2 left off, continuing Commander Shepard's mission to save the galaxy from the Reapers.

Mass Effect 3 is backwards-compatible with the previous version, Mass Effect 2. Players can import files made by old versions of the game. There are three game modes: Action Mode, Story Mode, and RPG mode.
