Mass Effect 2 is an action role-playing video game. It is the second chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy of games developed by BioWare. The game released in 2010 for Windows & XBox 360 and in 2011 for PS3.

The story in Mass Effect 2 begins weeks after the events in the original Mass Effect and follows the main character, Commander Shepard, through his investigations of the disappearance of human colonies.
