Ingress is a 2012 augmented reality game for Android, later ported to iOS in 2014. Ingress was developed by Niantic Labs and published by Google. Use this tag for questions about Ingress, regardless of platform.

Ingress is a massive multiplayer game in which two factions (Resistance and Enlightened) struggle for control over real-world territory, played by use of augmented reality.

It required an invitation to play during the beta phase of the game. It was released on November 2012 for Android, and on July 2014 for iOS.

Faction Informations:

Enlightened (Color Code: Green) - The Enlightened fight believing their actions will uplift humanity and bring about the next chapter in human evolution.

Resistance (Color Code: Blue) - The Resistance believes that it is protecting humanity from Shaper ingression and preserving humanity's freedom.

Are Jarvis Virus/Ada Refactors useless to the other side?
