Fallout 3 is a First Person Role Playing game set in the year 2277 in the irradiated wastelands of Washington DC, following a Nuclear Holocaust. It was released by Bethesda Studios in 2008.

Fallout 3 is Bethesda's sequel to Black Isle's series Fallout, released in 2008. It is the third major installment in the series. This action RPG is set in Washington, D.C. 200 years after it was destroyed in a nuclear war. At age 19, the player escapes from the fallout shelter they grew up in after their father mysteriously disappears. The player is greeted with the open world of the Capital Wasteland, and is free to explore and hopefully find their father.

It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
