In the past I got my hands dirty with systems dealing with: speech/music/video classification and recognition, audio codecs, audio DSP for FX/sound synthesis, machine learning for semi-structured text (search engine queries, web documents), statistics, recommendation, scalability/big data/storage.

These days I am just chilling and building modular synths :)
