70 yo retired male. Always prefer to fix things vs. buying a new one, if possible. Have always loved taking broken items apart to see how they used to work. Usually do my own electrical, plumbing, automobile and electronic repairs if they are not too technical or involved. Happy to pay a professional for the hardstuff as I usually learn something along the way! Hate to paint!
