Are these sloppy cuts and gaps normal around roof vents?
Got a new roof last fall in southeastern Idaho. I didn't notice until this week that the shingles are cut sloppily around most of the vents (see pictures).

What can I use to replace old asbestos-based siding with a similar look?
I went to Menards and Lowes. I can't find a way to buy some of these for the outside of the house. These are asbestos, but I thought they might make updated ones.

How to fix room if i can see light coming through from attic
We had strong winds in Boston and I just happened to go in the attic and I saw that there's direct light coming through 2 spots right in the middle of the roof.
Looks like the wind blew off the middle shingles. How should I go about reparing this?…
