Pressure treated wood resists rotting and insects, making it ideal for outdoor projects like fencing(fence) and decks(deck).
Because the wood is acidic, special fasteners must be used. Fasteners should be one of the following type
- Galvanized (almost exclusively nails)
- Coated (mostly screws)
- Stainless steel (always screws)
