I have no formal education in psychology, but cover the topic in some of the articles I work on. In those cases, I try to make the articles detailed and accurate as possible, which means I also spend time reading up on related topics. These are often popular-science or "explainer" pieces; of late I've been trying to go through original source materials as well.
