A coffee brewing device that uses immersion brewing followed by forcing the brewed coffee through a filter using a pressed plunger.

The AeroPress was designed by Aerobie (manufacturer known for flying discs and other toys) in 2005, and had since become popular around the world, with competitions for making the best AeroPress coffee.

Two major distinct brewing methods exist, the normal and inverted method.
