I am a 46 year old engineer, and I have a BS in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UIUC. I like to build things as a hobby (mechanical, electronic, and a combination of the two), which sometimes leads me into amateur chemistry, and hence led me to this site.
