7 Wonders is a card based civilization development game. It uses a card-drafting technic where once per turn, each player selects a card to play from their hand then passes the remaining cards to the player on their left.

The game is played from three different decks representing three different ages. Some cards have immediate effects, while others provide bonuses or upgrades later in the game. Players draft and reveal their cards simultaneously, enabling fast-paced play even with 7 players. Card may require paying or collecting resources, building civilization improvements, or interacting with other players in various ways.

Once all three decks have been played, players tally their scores in different developed areas (civil, scientific, commercial). The player with the most points wins. Works for 2-7 players (8 players with some extensions) advertises 30 minute game times. Play time is not affected by the number of players, as player interactions are limited to immediate neighbors.

What should you do when someone mistakenly builds the same building twice?

You're not allowed to build the same building more than once. I noticed that this rule is easily overlooked, especially in 7-player games and when the table is not that big (and so the cards need to be partly stacked). If a player has built a…
