What is the best way to be notified of an apps' update that is not installed on my phone? Is there a site place such as the Play store, Playboard, Aptoide or elsewhere that I can get an rss feed, email or another way of notification?

For example, I do not have Google Camera installed, but I may want to install it when a new feature I'm looking for has been added to it.

I am aware of the defunct app, "Changelog Droid" which is no longer maintained since January 2014. "The app is currently not maintained. There is an (unlikely to be fixed) issue with paid apps. Please don't contact me in this regard." So an alternative solution beyond that would be greatly appreciated.

@AndrewT. that answer isn't outdated, but still valid – I just was about to recommend the very same solution. Thanks for pointing to that question! // I notice a comment there says "no longer maintained", but that's not completely true to my knowledge. Last I've heard from the dev is he's currently busy on other tasks, but still plans to continue the app. – Izzy Apr 08 '15 at 09:23
