I have a Qidi Tech Q1 Pro. When I send a file to the printer for printing, before it starts printing, the printer throws this error (gcode error:!! No trigger on probe after full movement):

What is the reason for this or if you have had the same experience. Sometimes it does not throw an error and works normally.

This error, which comes from the Klipper based firmware, implies that the printer has travelled upto the maximum allowable distance and yet has not reached the detection point (trigger point) of the leveling sensor.

There could be a few problems here, all related to the distance of allowable travel in relation to the trigger point:

  1. The maximum allowable Z distance the head may travel is too small, a lower negative value should be used.
  2. The bed is tilted too much (there are 2 independent Z stepper motors) so that the trigger point is further that the maximum allowable movement.
  3. Is there filament blocking the head to move closer to the bed?
