Whenever I use the Internet, I crave checking Facebook, StackExchange, and Youtube. I lose a dangerous amount of time in the process.

This problem has become life threatening. I.e. my profession is in jeopardy.

Can anyone suggest me a 100% effective way to solve this issue?

The most effective way is to do everything you can think of. Block websites on your browser, replace the activity with something less addicting, get more interested in your work etc. There are tons of ideas you can find online. The 100% most effective solution would be to do all of them.Perl 2017-05-17T14:49:52.640

Best way is to block the websites.Thats what I do and it works for me. To block the distracting website you can use the software named Freedom.More details about freedom and online distractions can be found here

Freedom is not a free software though,so I use the software named "self control".Don't worry ,I am not telling you to block the websites completely for life time, you can block it for few hours during your work and freedom lets you do that.

Also love for your work is also important ,try to develop a passion for your work.Yes,passion can be developed ,it is not something preexist.
